The most obvious evidence for John being an alias is that the family names baptised in 1886 in Beverly exactly match Lord Prides and his only son John died at birth in 1630. The entire Pride population in England was approximately 50 in 1675. The Beverly Baptism names are not repeated outside Lord Prides Family. Only six Prides were born in England in the year 1675, the years 1604, 1606, 1620, 1642,and 1657 had zero Prides born those years. Wealthy Joseph goes missing from all records in 1658, the only Lord Pride descendant to do so.
